ALEC & SOPHIE

07.02.2026

See you in Scotland

When it came to planning our wedding,  we knew that what we wanted more than anything  was to spend time with the people we love in a place that means something to us.

So it was almost always going to be Drumtochty.

A place where decades ago Sophie and her family used to walk their dog, and just last year uncovered a hidden Highlander in Alec as he drove through the estate for the first time. Now, it's a wedding venue that allows each and every one of you to stay for as little (or as long) as you'd like, and, with yourselves, let's us bring to life the wedding we'd always imagined.

So we welcome you to join us, for a weekend in the Highlands. Good food, good wine, great company and a wedding.

The following should fill you in on what we have planned so you can decide if you want to make the trek north or would rather say slàinte another time.

Friday

We will be hosting a casual soirée in the Gold Room of the Main Castle from 8pm.

Expect a few drinks served in a setting of refined charm and warm company.

Your attendance is desired, not required. So if you'd prefer to explore or rest, we completely understand and will see you at the ceremony.

Saturday

The ceremony will be held in the Ballroom of the Main Castle and will start promptly at 2:30pm.

We ask that guests arrive no later than 2:15pm.

A drinks reception will follow before we return to the Ballroom for The Wedding Breakfast at 5pm.

After the Wedding Breakfast, we will migrate towards the Gold Room for coffee, tea and cake before enjoying an evening of music,

dancing and celebration.

Carriages at midnight

Sunday

We will be spending our first day as a married couple at Drumtochty and are thrilled to be able to extend an open invitation to all those who would like to join us.

It will be a relaxed day, free from formalities,

where guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds,

some food, and (hopefully) some great stories

from the night before.

Whether it's for a few minutes or a few hours

we would love to see you.
